Jim Michel is one of the founder of TCSS and Matt Water is design director of it.

TCSS

The Critical Slide Society(TCSS) was founded as surf brand in 2009 in Australia. They are alternative creaters that output various creation by surfers, artists, photographers, designers and film makers through surf culture. Nowadays we can see their collection all over the world. It has treated a lot of select shop in Japan too.

I feel that it has detail of 70's hippie style and has appeal different from old school style due to updated currently. It adapt oneself to street and they enjoy them freedom style. It is the most remarkable brand I wanna wear!!

2009年にオーストラリア初のサーフブランドとしてスタート。

サーファー、アーティスト、フォトグラファー、デザイナー、フィルムメイカーなど様々なアウトプットをサーフカルチャーを通じて今までに無いアプローチで発信しているアグレッシブなチームです。今では世界中でTCSSのアイテムを手に入れる事が出来て、ここ日本のセレクトショップでも多く取り扱いがあるブランドです。

70'sのヒッピーカルチャーを継承しつつ、現代のサーフカルチャーとしてアップデートされたアイテムは従来のイメージとは違った魅力があると私は感じています。

よりストリートに馴染んでいて、自由なスタイルで、彼ら自身もそれを楽しんでいる。

I took the picture in Shimokitazawa. They came to there especially after going to the NEWoMan opened 25th Mar in Shinjuku.

They wore faded denim and white T-shirts by coincidence. They have cleanliness and freshness so I felt good for them. It is cute that their shoes were black and white.

I appreciated they came to help me day off. Thanks to you, I could take the big smile!

They are to take an active part in magazines and they will continue to be successful!!

下北沢でスナップを撮らせてもらったのは仕事仲間でモデルの小池 翼さんとdonaさん。

3/25にオープンしたばかりのNEWoManに行った帰り道に寄ってくれました。この日偶然デニムと白Tでかぶったと言ってました（笑）透明感？清潔感？が溢れまくっていて雰囲気が良いんです。スニーカーが黒と白って言うのも何か可愛い。

オフまで撮影に協力してもらって感謝です！その甲斐もあって仕事中はあまり見せないような笑顔が撮れました（笑）

二人は雑誌などで活躍しているモデルさんでこれからもっともっと活躍の場が広がっていくだろう要チェックな二人です。また機会があれば別のお揃いスタイルで写真を撮らせて下さい！

I met him in the antique market that there were vintage clothing and antique furniture. It is  the well-established clothing store that they remakes clothing by french linen and old Japanese cloth100 years ago. I like repairing the clothing but old cloth is more expensive than new one. Daring to take is cool!

It is important that the taking care of things culture in the full of things age. I will offer mixture styles old and new based on I understanding both good points.

佐々木洋品店 店長さん

様々なヴィンテージアイテムやアンティークが並ぶアンティークマーケットでお会いした佐々木洋品店の店長さん。

100年以上昔のフレンチリネンや日本の古い生地を使用してヴィンテージアイテムをカスタムしたり新しく作られたりしている老舗の洋品店です。

私も趣味程度に洋服を直して長く着ているのですが、古い生地を手に入れる事を考えると新しい物を買った方が断然安く済むことも多いです。そこを敢えて壊れても直す美学。

そこには新しく作られた物には無い魅力があります。物が溢れる時代だからこそ、一枚を丁寧に直して着古していた先人達の知恵やカルチャーが美しく感じられます。

ただの時代錯誤にはなりたくなくて、けしてハイテクを否定するのではなく、それぞれの魅力を理解してミックスしたスタイルを今後も発信していこうと思い生ます。

Antique market in Hilltop farm

The stores that treated antique and vintage clothing came together on hilltop farm in Saitama. You can enjoy to see and buy valuable items under the blue sky!!

20's,30's chambray shirts that you cann't find out easily were displayed. I was impressed the most valuable in the market. It was a indigo French linen one piece vintage of 10's or 20's for shepherdess. It has a interesting detail like a western yoke and original button.

I felt fear and excitement from the white dress. I enjoyed to see many valuable vintage items that you can see only into movie.

It had held two times yet so stores and visitors were really loved antique only.

アンティークマーケット イン ヒルトップファーム

埼玉にあるヒルトップ丘の上で関東近郊のアンティーク、ヴィンテージを取り扱うお店が集まり貴重な品物を青空の下で楽しめるイベントです。

古着屋ではなかなか触ることの出来ない20's、30'sのシャンブレーシャツや、フレンチワーク物、一番ヤられたのはインディゴ染めのフレンチリネンのワンピース。写真は撮れなかったのですが、ウエスタンぽいヨークの作りや、切り返し、ボタンなど見た事も無いディティールに震えました（笑）

写真の白装束なども正直危険な匂いしかしないですよね。映画の中でしかお目にかかれないような物との出会いに興奮しまくりでした。今回がまだ開催2回目という事でまだまだコアなお店と客層が多いので、本当に好きな方は是非一度立ち寄ってみては如何でしょうか！

I found out them at that afternoon when I had taken snap on the cat street and went to Shibuya station.

TOKYO PARKOUR MONSTER FAMILY

They are the artist team that expressed by parkour performance together movie and music.

Mr.898(wear red cloth in below picture) is a track maker moreover performer.

What is the parkour??

It was born in France. It was a special training treated french military by walking, running, jumping, catching and throwing and more on parks and architects.

It is just the French movie YAMAKASI. Recently we know extreme performance than training.

I took pictures appearance of thier training usually. They have great physical abilities so they can do that. Passing people looked their performance.

キャットストリートでいつものようにスナップをして日が落ちてきたのでそろそろ引き上げようかと渋谷に向かっていた時に彼らを発見しました。

TOKYO PARKOUR MONSTER FAMILY
パルクールパフォーマンスをイベントや映像、音楽に載せて自分達のやり方で発信しているアーティスト集団。写真上の赤いカラーが良く似合う898さんはパフォーマーであり、サウンドクリエイターでもあります。


パルクールとは？
発症は身の周りにある環境を使って基本的な動作（歩く、走る、跳ぶ、掴む、登る、投げるなどなど）を通じて身体能力を著しく向上させるフランス初の軍事訓練にも取り入れられているトレーニング。
と言うと固いイメージがありますが、フランス映画のYAMAKASIがまさにパルクールです。現在ではトレーニングと言うとよりもエクストリームパフォーマンスとしての認知が広まっています。

彼らは公園でトレーニング中と言う事でしたのでその風景を邪魔しないように撮影させてもらいました。身体一つでパフォーマンスをする彼らのスタイルがカッコよく、普段は子供達の遊び道具になっている遊具が彼らによってエクストリームスポットに変わっていくその瞬間に通り過ぎる人々の視線を集めていました。

人々が音楽やパフォーマンスとそれぞれの個性がストリートで交わる映像は圧巻です。
こんな繋がり方は非現実的でしょうか？こんな映像美は確かに非現実的かもしれないですが、人の繋がりって以外と偶然の出会いから気があうからその後もお付き合いがあったりとかしませんか？
私の場合、結構そんな事があります（笑）

You can see current trend style that lady wore wide denim and gentlemen did thin one. It is one of the trend items that sports cap was wore by her. I recommend style that women wear it better than men do.

90's item including high technique sneaker is a trend now, but we don't feel a bore.

Why not?

Are designers good? or are fashionista good?! Is what media and stylist release brand new style good?!

Nowadays, we makes new styles from old style.

They said "we have been enjoyed time!!" when we went several ways. I appreciate it and write the article, it is the anniversary 100th!!

ドリさん、バフさん

色違いのORPHICがお揃いのオシャレな二人。
ロングコートに合わせたデニムは対照的なシルエット。今季の男女のトレンドの違いがここにも見られるような気がしますね。ドリさんの被っているスポーツCAPも今年の顔ですね。女性が被ってるのが個人的には好きなスタイルですね。

ハイテクスニーカーを始め90'sなアイテムがトレンドになっていますが、古くなく新しく感じられるのはデザイナーが凄いのか、世の中のオシャレピーポーが凄いのか？
ブランニュースタイルを打ち出すメディア、スタイリスト達の為せる業なのか？

お二人から別れ際に楽しかったです！と言ってもらえて良かったな〜と思いながら記事を書いていたのですが、今回の記事でスナップを始めてなんと100回目の記事となることに気が付きました！！

約2年なので年間平均50回。多くの方々のご協力を頂いて成り立っております。ありがとうございます！
少し前から考えているこのコンテンツ？の一歩先をこの100回を迎えられたことを機に歩んで行こうと思います。またそのために一緒に歩んでいける方が必要だと強く感じています。
