I knew GRIND LODGE and l have loved thier's works, cultures.
Naoya worked at GRIND LODGE and go to oversea if he can be ready to travel. He feel anything from trips. So he was soft and powerful. I like his style!

I took the photos at GINZA FINE MARKET hold in Ginza Matsuya April 2017.
BEERBELLY ... drunk lol
The brand was started by leather bag craftsman at atelier in Kitasenjyu. They has made ideal bag that they wants real. Materials are denim, campus and thick leather. All products can be used long time because it's so tough design. Anyway user be looking forward aging. Bags are designed from perspective of customers by them that fashion lovers think think think "such a bag!"
They choose vintage rivet rather than current parts. It is tough design so they make mistakes, remove it so hard working...
Well, I have used theirs bag for 2 years. My favorite point for BEERBELLY products is not only cool but also playing!! Logo, ilistration are relax style. It is just a Tawamure.

2017年4月に銀座松屋で開催されていたGINZA FINE MARKETに出店していたBEERBELLYの写真を撮らせて頂きました。
BEERBELLY（ビアベリー）は英語でビール腹の意味。
北千住に工房を構え鞄職人がビール片手に本気で自分たちがいいと思うものを作るところから始まったブランド。素材はデニムやキャンバス地、レザーを主に使用していてどれも厚みがあって重厚な造りになっています。どの商品も永く使えて経年変化が楽しみな物ばかり。細部にまでこだわった作りで洋服好きな皆さんが”こんなものあったらいいのに”をユーザー視点に立ってデザインされています。
面白いのはバッグに使われているリベットがカッパー製の現在は通常使用されていないアンティークのパーツを使用されていて、一度つけたら外れない強度なので製作時に打ち損じた時に取り外すのが一苦労なんだとか。
2年前から愛用している自分が特に好きな理由はかっこいいだけじゃなく、遊びが効いているところ。ブランドロゴにもなっているBEERBELLYの文字やイラストのゆるいタッチからくる遊び心がたまりません。戯れてます。
昨日からスタートした5/31〜6/6 東京 日本橋 丸善日本橋店1Fで出店中。BEERBELLYの商品が直接手に取って見られるチャンスなので是非生で厚いレザーや質実剛健な作りをお楽しみ下さい。
