The STRAND was born in 1927 over on force Avenue what was then called "Book Row".
Theirs employees are not only knowledgable about books but they're also passionate about them. Exactly it is just a department book store.
In this way, it is interesting that investigate why selected cloth and what do it have background. We will enjoy not only appearance but also music, movies and background.
All of them makes a style. This is the real thrill of fashion!!

チェスターコートに足元はドクターマーチンの3ホールを持ってきたところが気になるポイント。彼はトレンドになる前からずっとドクターマーチンを履いていて、そこがまたいい（笑）
NYを愛し、勢いでNYに行き、NYへの憧れを現実にした若きライター。
音楽にファッション、興味のジャンルは幅広く英語も喋れる。こうして文字にすると出来過ぎ君。実績だってある。結構すごい奴だと思うんだけど、たまに腹が立つ後輩の那智君（笑）
不思議な魅力を持っている彼は以前スナップで紹介したTonpai Kitchen の宮田さんや一緒に働いていたカメラマンに可愛がられてます。
NYで買い付けてきた古着を販売するWay way backを立ち上げ、表参道のナイトマーケットで販売していることも。気になる方はこちらをチェックしてみて下さい。
そんな彼の自慢のバッグはNY の老舗本屋、STRANDのオリジナル。
1927年に古本屋としてBook rowと呼ばれる当時古本屋のメッカに軒を連ねる。本の存在を知ってもらうだけではなく、その本の背景、哲学、なぜ出版されたのか。魅力を惜しみなく語ってくれたり、お客様に合った本をヴィンテージから新しいものまで所狭しと収納されている本のあらゆるジャンルから紹介してくれる。正に本のセレクトショップなわけです。
その人のバックグラウンドや、一つ一つのモノにフォーカスして何故選んだのかを深く見ていくと更にその人の事が分かったり、新たな話のネタにもなります。
見た目だけでは無く、日常やどんな音楽、映画、本が好きなのか？そういった全てから形成されているスタイルが見えてくる。
これはファッションの醍醐味の一つですよね。
