Summer Vacation

What’s goin’on?

The first half of August is a relaxing summer vacation. This year was a special summer to spend while watching the Olympic games. I personally loved skateboarding and basketball. I enjoyed playing basketball in countries other than Japan because I came to basketball with junior high and high school and I like the NBA… And you couldn't see the skateboard added to the competition from this time without tears. Impressed by the old man.

This time, I am the editor-in-chief of Style Blog Tawamure, who is modest in talking about clothes and enjoying summer vacation.

The American dream team won the gold medal again this time! However, when the Olympics began, the NBA finals were just over, and the finalists Khris Middleton, Jrue Holiday, and Devin Booker would join the day before, or just before entering the Coronavirus Health and Safety Protocol. Isn't the gold medal tough at the tournament that started in a state of full-blown wounds for the champion America such as Bradley Beal who could not participate due to? It started with a criticism.

Although it is said that it is natural to win the championship, it was a tear for the athletes to overcome the overcrowded schedule with a high risk of injury. NBA players from other countries such as Doncic and Gobert also played on TV, but it was really good to see them. I also wanted to see Bradley Beal…

Here comes the STARTER cap. Rose embroidery is utilized in the denim material of chemical wash. In fact, STARTER was the first brand to sign a contract with American sports such as the NBA and NFL in the 1980s. It was mixed with pop culture in the 90's and is now a popular brand in the used clothing market.

This cap is from STARTER BLACK LABEL, Europe's first label specializing in fashion in 2012.

And the NIKE Blazer Hi skater's Grant Taylor collaboration model, which was designed after being inspired by ACG, which was derived from the brand NIKE that was popular in the 90's.

This NIKE BLAZER is a model released as NIKE's first basketball shoes in the 1970s.

The origin of the model BLAZER is the team Portland Trail Blazers of the local NBA in Portland where the NIKE headquarters is located.

Two items I chose to participate in the bonfire event, not in the middle of the outdoors, but for a little street feel. There are things that come naturally. I like to say this.

By the way, next is the last summer remodeling of used clothes this year.

8月の前半は夏休みでゆったり。今年はオリンピック観戦をしながら過ごす特別な夏でした。個人的に熱かったのがスケボーとバスケ。バスケは中高とやってきたのとNBAが好きなので日本以外の各国の試合が楽しかった。。そして今回から競技に追加されたスケボーは涙無しには見れなかったですよね。オジサン感動。

今回は服の話を控えめで夏休み満喫中のスタイルブログ戯の編集長です。

アメリカのドリームチームが今回も順当に金メダルを取りましたね！ただ今回のオリンピックが始まった頃、NBAのファイナルが終わったばかりでファイナル組のクリス・ミドルトン、ドリュー・ホリデー、デビン・ブッカーは前日に合流することになったり、直前でコロナウィルスの健康・安全プロトコル入りにより参加できなくなったブラッドリー・ビールなど王者アメリカに取っては満身創痍の状態で始まった大会で金メダルは厳しいのでは？という酷評でスタートしました。

優勝して当たり前と言われながら、選手にとっては怪我のリスクの高い過密スケジュールを乗り越えての優勝は個人的には涙ものでした。ドンチッチやゴベールなど他の国のNBAプレーヤーのプレーもテレビ越しではありますが見れて本当に良かった。ブラッドリー・ビールも見たかったな。。

ここで登場するのがSTARTERのキャップ。ケミカルウォッシュのデニム素材にローズの刺繍が活かしてる。実は80年代にブランドとしてNBAやNFLなどアメリカのスポーツと初めて契約をしたのがSTARTER。90年代にはポップカルチャーともミックスされ今では古着市場でも人気のブランド。

このキャップは2012年にファッション性に特化したヨーロッパ初のレーベルSTARTER BLACK LABELの物。

そして90年代に流行ったブランドNIKEから派生したACGから着想経てデザインされたNIKE ブレイザーHi　スケーターのグラントテイラーコラボモデル。

このNIKE BLAZERは70年代にNIKE初のバスケットシューズとして発売されたモデル。

モデルのBLAZERの由来はNIKE本社があるポートランド地元のNBAのチームポートランドトレイルブレイザーズなんです。

焚火イベントに参加するのにアウトドアど真ん中ではなく、ちょっとストリート感を出したくて選んだ2つのアイテム。自然と通ってきたモノが出てますね。こう言うの好きだなぁ。

前回ご紹介したBREAKLETICSのイベント会場NATURALSPACEGRIMにあったバスケットゴールにて撮影。またバスケやりに行きたい。
